In the late 1950’s Dr. A.G. Jacobs, a practicing dentist and founder of SafeTGard, began producing mouthguards using denture lining silicone materials. In the early 1960’s, Dr.
Jacobs pioneered boiling water mouthguards and was granted three patents for his innovations. In addition, SafeTGard was the innovator of mouth-guards in colors. Today, SafeTGard
